This is complete CHAOS, but even the chaos plays a role: “Solve et coagula” (“dissolve and coagulate”), meaning you must destroy the organization before you can remake it into something else.

Cui bono?

Obviously, those who desire to protect the conciliar revolution, who were shaken that an organization the size of LSN should progress from COVID resistance, to Vigano endorsement, to running persuasive articles questioning the legitimacy of Francis (and by implication, all the conciliar “popes”).

So this much at least is clear: The ousting of Westen and Kokx was an orchestrated coup.

Had LSN stopped at simply rejecting the COVID farce, and supporting Vigano, the puppet masters might yet have tolerated them. But questioning the legitimacy of the conciliar hierarchy and its entire counterfeit edifice, which is suppressing true Catholicism, is simply too dangerous to go unchecked.

Outside interested parties (modernist Rome, Jews, government, Freemasons, etc) are all threatened in their gains since 1965, and that simply can’t be allowed, as it risks inciting a counterrevolution which might bring back the true Catholicism they have temporarily succeeded in eclipsing.

Only fake trads/good cops (Schneider/Burke/captured SSPX) can be allowed. But a major organization going sede is far too dangerous for the Revolutionaries to ignore.

So, solve et coagula.

Interesting take. If you think Bishop Schneider and Cardinal Burke are "fake trads," I hope you're praying for their conversion and growth in fortitude. They could be tremendous allies. Are there prelates you approve of?

Only those found outside the counterfeit conciliar church. All those within it -supposing they are actually validly consecrated prelates, as in the Eastern rites- are complicit in the present crisis by either their promotion of error, or (as in the case of Burke/Schneider) their defense of the proximate cause of the crisis Vatican II).

A digression, but it is an interesting phenomenon to note that almost none of the trad bishops resisted conciliarism while they were still in office:

Lefebvre, Thuc, Lazo, and Vigano all were officially retired before later rejecting conciliarism.

Only de Castro Mayer refused the new Mass and sacraments while still in office.

I have some thoughts on why that might be, but it would be an even greater digression.

I was born in 1970 and was stuck in the Novus Ordo till just 2 years ago when I finally came to the TLM, so a lot of this conversation is still new to me when it comes to the wider Traditionalist community. Learning as I go. Never thought I'd reject Vatican II (much less question it), but here we are. So I'm genuinely interested in learning who the players are, the sede POV, and what it is going to take to persuade folks that we need to return to Tradition without abandoning Peter. But what do you do when the person occupying the Chair of Peter teaches things as we've seen in recent years?!

I would check out vaticancatholic.com. Brother Peter Dimond and Brother Michael Dimond of Most Holy Family Monastery have been sedevacantist for at least 20 years. They are extremely consistent in proclaiming and proving that the Vatican II sect is not the Catholic Church.

This is insane (so insane it sounds like something out of a movie). If anyone ever doubted that John-Henry Westen's removal came as a result some sort of a coup or takeover at LifeSite, this proves our suspicions were true. It's hard to believe this is happening at a company that once seemed so faithful.

I guess this would tend to discredit certain “peacemakers” who jumped out in front of the story to scold us, claiming JHW’s dismissal was all business with no unseemly politics.

Glorious, LifeSite has put itself in an unsteady position and JH in a much better position. Well done! And nothing says Catholicism like treating employees worse than the corporate world would treat them. And angering your readership and making all employees nervous. Stellar.

How great it would be for John-Henry to reclaim his position! On the other hand, I am really looking forward to his new venture and also what is to come from KOKX News! Maybe what happened is for the best.

Westin should never go back. This is all about the fact that Lifesite is hemorrhaging donors at breakneck speed. Mr. Westin, you don’t need your old cronies. You’re good all all your own.

I wholeheartedly agree! I hope the faithful Team at LSN, those who did not ask for this, will rally to John-Henry and help him build the new organization. Hey, John-Henry, I'm available at SignOfTheCrossMedia if you could use my services!

I suspect, most won't return to giving them a subscription, after all this. EVEN if he decides to take his old post back.

I will never be able to trust them from now on, period. Only J.H. as an individual. That's it.

Thank you.

I was going to post essentially the same thing. Why would anyone with a functioning brain go back to a toxic work environment, especially given the same management team is still there??

If JHW was wrongfully terminated I hope he sues the pants off of them.

And yet, so many external to the company, claiming secret knowledge, have tried to gaslight us all into thinking there was no coup at all.

Too bad for them, we’re immune to gaslighting and not stupid enough to trust their lies.

This is a shame. Looks like an "independent" news org has gotten bought out.

Keep going Mr Kokx we need good reporting!

This raises a red flag for me. They do realize how much people gravitate towards John-Henry and that he is a very good devout Catholic.

It is my belief this move is NOT for Mr. Weston's benefit or because of any affection for him.

They are looking out for themselves, purely.

I surely do pray that J.-H. discern this carefully.

I will definitely stay tuned...

Thank you. Syl.

Another eye opening article regarding LifeSiteNews. As we can see, the adherence to the post Conciliar ideology by LSN management clearly shows they are not genuine Catholics, but a mixture of vaguely catholic and pagan ideas. Pure poison! Smacks of the false Conciliar Church!.

Breaking news: "Elvis' backing band have determined that their sacking of The King was illegal. No, they are not taking him back ".

The only reason I have been aware for years that Lifesite News even existed was John Henry Weston. Without him, who gives a **** about the rest of the organisation?

As I see it, the board have a rapidly closing window to avoid legal wipeout and negotiate a non-catastrophic payoff. But I don't know what cash reserves or lines of credit they can draw on.

The best Totally Looney Catholic story so far in 2025 was obviously that Yeti Blood Oath story out of Denver. However, there is still time for the Lifesite board to top that.
