I do not understand why the SSPX wants to be reconciled to a church that no longer believes the authentic catholic faith. It seems to be more like the Unitarian Church or a mixture of new age and the occult. If there's confusion about all of this , just remember God is not the author of confusion. So who would that be? Trad Inc. have no Catholic concept of the boundaries between the layman and the priest and that makes them poisonously Protestant.

From there, Bishop Fellay further compromised the Society by conceding to Rome that they would accept Vatican II and the Novus Ordo as valid. Prevost may well give the Society more bishops, but the pre-conditions that will come with it will demand that they also say the Novus Ordo Mass just like the FSSP. Because of Lefebvre’s unwillingness to embrace the Sedevacantism views of his expelled priests, he set up the Society for eventual failure and destruction. Bp Tissier (RIP) is incorrect in thinking that the situation with sacramental bishops and priests is not abnormal. The whole situation is not normal. God is preserving his Church but Apostolic Succession doesn’t exist in the FSSPX or any “trad” group. They should be seeking certainly validly consecrated Bishops with ordinary jurisdiction in the Eastern Rites to elect a new Pope. We’ve been without one for too long.
