Leo's First 100 Days: Promoting the Heresies of Francis (and Vatican II)
The conciliar Revolution marches on.
Fake conservatives and battle weary semi-Trads took to social media to declare victory after this year’s conclave. “We are so back,” they told their millions of followers.
Our theory all along has been that either Cardinal Burke and/or Cardinal Müller (the only two Novus Ordo clergy who have the power to direct the “Trad” media apparatus to draw down its sword) was behind this coordinated gaslighting campaign.
Of course this raises the question: Why would they do this?
One answer is that they had grown tired of the fight under Francis. “Laity can’t take this anymore. We need to be positive,” or so the argument goes.
Another possibility is that Trads are being told to get on Leo’s good side in order show him they aren’t the “angry rad trads” they are made out to be. “Better be on our best behavior if we want to have Leo give us permission to say the Latin Mass again.”
Perhaps this is why Burke is now touting Leo’s reign as being “Christo-centric” — while refusing to criticize his more liberal remarks. Burke is also urging Catholics to be patient as Prevost appoints more members to the Curia; presumably they will be “conservatives.” Cardinals Müller and Zen have echoed these talking points as well.
Notably, Chris Jackson has shown how the UK-based Damian Thompson — one of Jorge Bergoglio’s loudest critics after the 2013 conclave — has participated in this cheerleading exercise. Read his incisive comments here.
Spreading False Hope Is Dangerous
We at Kokx News called out this psy-op from the start. Below are two posts we published on X just days after the conclave:
Others were quick to notice what was happening as well, including Catholic Esquire:
Not only has Kennedy Hall taken shots at us over the past several months (albeit only indirectly) but so have aging, attention-seeking Boomer Catholics who have next to no followers on social media.
Our critics seem to be infuriated by the fact that we were sounding the alarm on Day 1 and warning Catholics to not live by the lies, half-truths, and deceptive practices Trad Inc. and Catholic Inc. were using on them. Below is another post we published after the conclave on X that exposed their scheming:
Our primary concern has always been that Catholics were (and still are) being spoon-fed false hope and naive optimism about Leo, whom Archbishop Viganò has warned is continuing on the path of his predecessor.
Kokx News also believes that the methods used by Trad Inc. are — at root — a form of lying as they are purposefully meant to deceive the public about the reality of the situation. And just what is the situation? That Leo is a full-blown Modernist intent on implementing the Vatican II Masonic agenda. To think otherwise is spiritually and intellectually dangerous.
Aside from Raymond Arroyo’s occasional criticisms, EWTN has been one of the most loyal apparatchiks in the Vatican’s propaganda operation. Below are several social media posts they have published. Notice the repeated use of the word “tradition.” This is obviously part of a re-branding campaign designed to make Leo look like a defender of orthodoxy. It is also likely being done to placate wealthy conservative Catholic donors in the US who want to see the prestige of the papacy restored.
Never Forget Those Who Got it Wrong
To be fair, not all Traditionalists who were swept up in the euphoria after the conclave were complicit in this Deep Church operation. They were simply relieved that Jorge Bergoglio was no longer the one wearing the white papal vestments, and so they expressed their hope for the future.
Still, it should be clear to all by now that we at Kokx News were right all along and that we are entirely justified when we say: we told you so. Indeed, we published the following remark in a blog post less than 72 hours after the conclave:
“The revolution that was unleashed at Vatican II will continue to march on under Leo, but will be dressed in traditional garb and will come with a smile instead of the insults and jeers of Francis.”
Having said that, we must never forget the influencers who played a leading role (and continue to play a leading role) in the effort to gaslight Traditional Catholics about Leo. They simply cannot be trusted going forward.
One positive development that has resulted from all of this is that we now know 1) who the true Traditionalists are 2) who the grifters have been these past 12 years and 3) who the thought leaders of the Traditional movement should be going forward. In other words, it should be apparent to all who has the clarity of mind to see things as they are and who has the courage to speak up while everyone else falls by the wayside — or plays politics with our faith.

Semi-Trads Are Acting Like John XXIII
Some Traditionalists are pushing back against those who are telling the truth. They say we shouldn’t be so negative all the time. Attacking Leo this early on is jumping the gun. We need to give him a fair shake and “wait and see” what happens. You’re a sedevacantist heretic!
Well, this past Saturday marked Leo’s first 100 days in office. Below is a list of remarks, statements, and actions he has taken over that time. In total, they reveal a man who is wedded to many if not all of the goals of his immediate predecessor as well as the modernist revolution that was set into motion at the Second Vatican Council.
This being true, calling out Leo’s liberalism is an act of charity — it is to expose a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Yet in this video Kennedy Hall rebuked Catholics for doing precisely that. He said they are guilty of “doomerism” and “despair.” My only response is: is the Church still infiltrated or is it not? Is it, as Archbishop Lefebvre said in 1974: a Rome of “neo-Modernist and neo-Protestant tendencies” or is that suddenly not the case anymore?
Earlier this year Kennedy appeared on a podcast with Eric Sammons of Crisis Magazine and Timothy Flanders of OnePeterFive to repeat this John XXIII-inspired tactic (recall that John rebuked conservatives at Vatican II for being “prophets of doom” in his opening speech). The podcast was an obvious gatekeeping effort meant to paint the rest of us as beyond the pale.
Signs Leo Is Continuing the Vatican II/Francis Revolution
Below are some of the “highlights” of Leo’s first 100 days. Had Francis been the one saying these things, Trad media would publish podcasts, blogs, and joint letters condemning him. As it stands today, there is hardly any pushback against him. This is shameful beyond compare.
During his first Mass in the Sistine Chapel, Leo allowed two women religious to do the readings. He also permitted Sr. Maria Gloria Riva to address the Curia in Paul VI hall while he sat in the audience. Additionally, Leo has appointed several women, including Sr. Tiziana Merletti as Secretary, to the Dicastery for Consecrated Life.
Leo has re-appointed arch-heretic Tucho “Kissy” Fernandez to lead the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. Fernandez has notably said that blessings for homosexual couples “will remain” going forward. To date, there has been no correction on this from Leo. Relatedly, Leo plans to welcome to the Vatican representatives from the pro-LGBT group We Are Church in October.
Not only did Leo celebrated the scandalous “Mass for the Care of Creation” he recently told a group of French scouts that “only an inner conversion makes possible … a new way of living in communion with the environment.” Leo then invoked the term “common home” (a favorite of Francis) in his remarks. Leo used similar language in a speech he made earlier this year while praising Laudato Si. Archbishop Viganò has since rebuked Leo for endorsing Agenda 2030.
Mere minutes after his election, Leo informed the world from the balcony of St. Peter’s that “we want to be a synodal church.” He re-iterated that when he told university rectors in May that he was happy they were "engaging in a synodal work of discernment in preparation for” an upcoming UN-sponsored climate event. He further remarked to the Ordinary Council of the General Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops that, “Pope Francis has given a new impetus to the Synod of Bishops, and the legacy he has left us seems to me to be above all this: that Synodality is a style, an attitude that helps us to be Church, promoting authentic experiences of participation and communion." He’s used the word synodal in other settings, too.
Leo has repeatedly praised Francis. “I would like to assure you of my intention to continue Pope Francis’ commitment to promoting the synodal nature of the Catholic Church,” he said in an address to non-Catholics in May. “During Mass, I strongly felt the spiritual presence of Pope Francis accompanying us from heaven,” he also said for the Regina Coeli Mass. Just this week Leo’s brother John said Leo was “very close” with Francis.
Liberals claim Leo as one of their own, and use his words to promote open borders. Cardinal Blase Cupich told America magazine that, “it was also very clear that we wanted somebody who was going to continue the work of Pope Francis. There was no interest at all in diverting attention away from that or moving in a different direction.” Cardinal McElroy has likewise remarked: “I think many cardinals, and ultimately the majority, saw him as someone who could carry forward (Francis’) trajectory in its essential elements.”
Leo has not taken steps to defend Tradition. The canceling of Latin Masses in Detroit and Charlotte could easily be rectified by Leo. He could also rebuke the New Mexico Archbishop for reinstating a homosexual to the priesthood after he had lived with a man for decades in San Francisco. He hasn’t. We have also just learned that the Vatican supports the removal of a Latin Mass community in New Zealand. How is this “Christo-centric,” Cardinal Burke?
Leo talks in platitudes and generalities as if the Catholic faith is a New Age spirituality cult designed for self-improvement instead of it being the one true religion established by God. See these X posts:
Which way Traditional Catholics?
Just days before the conclave, Taylor Marshall raised the specter that if Cardinal Prevost would be elected it would be a “worst case” scenario.
Similarly, Michael Hichborn of the Lepanto Institute exclaimed, “Dear God help us!!!” following the conclave.
Now Marshall proudly declares, “I submit myself to His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV”
The dilemma Trad Inc. faces is this: how much time will they give Leo until they turn on him? And what excuse will they tell their (former?) viewers why they remained silent as souls were being lost? Whatever it is it isn’t going to cut it.
It already looks as if Bishop Strickland is starting to crack. In a recent interview, he said the following:
“When Pope Leo XIV was elected, I expressed the hope that he would faithfully uphold the Deposit of Faith. That hope was genuine — but it has already been tested and, sadly, diminished.
He has appointed bishops who openly support the ordination of women, contrary to the Church’s constant teaching. He has also maintained restrictions on the Traditional Latin Mass, depriving the faithful of a liturgy that formed countless saints.
These are not small matters. They represent a continuation of the same pattern we saw under Pope Francis — tolerating, or even promoting, voices that contradict the faith, while sidelining those who speak it plainly.”
Chris Jackson aptly summarized the first 100 days of Leo in the following way:
The revolution marches on beneath the jokes and smiles. And unless Catholics resist, Leo XIV will accomplish what Francis began: the normalization of a church that trivializes the sacred, absorbs the pagan, blesses the immoral, and entertains the world while the faith itself is eclipsed.
Amen to that. May those who have spoken up about the scandal being caused by Trad Inc. as well as by Leo have the courage to keep doing so. As Our Lord said in the Gospel of Luke: “If these will be silent, the stones will cry out!” May Christ raise up more stones in the weeks, months, and years ahead.

Excellent points Mr. Kokx! To think things are going to improve with Vatican II still in place is to simply live outside of reality.
Keep up the good work, Stephen. A 1972 Loyola, Chicago graduate here. How did you survive it? But I know, dead bodies flow downstream, and you weren't dead.
"Francis rode the subway..." Right, with his right hand obviously inserted into his shirt, in a typically Masonic pose.
"Aside from Raymond Arroyo’s occasional criticisms, EWTN..." I like Raymond -- he pushes criticism as far as he can without losing his job. But ultimately, he is not one to follow. A phrase used by my old TFP friends describes EWTN perfectly: "White heresy," a jargon that indicates a sentimental mentality that manifests itself primarily as a sweet piety and a non-militant and relativistic doctrinal position, which always makes excuses for others, including enemies, under the pretext that they deserve "charity." I would rather listen to Protestant radio than to EWTN.
