Archbishop Viganò: Synodality 'Undermines the Authority of the Roman Pontiff'
'This is the ecclesial version of globalist technocracy.'

Former Nuncio to the US Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò issued a stinging rebuke of the “conciliar-synodal revolution” Wednesday.
“This is the ecclesial version of globalist technocracy,” His Excellency declared.
Viganò has kept a somewhat lower profile during the Leo era, but he came out swinging after remarks made by Cardinal Michael Czerny, the Czech-born prefect of the Dicastery for the Service of Integral Human Development.
Earlier this week Czerny gave a speech at the inaugural session of the first assembly of bishops of CEAMA (Ecclesial Conference of the Amazon), in Bogotá, Colombia. Czerny claimed the group’s founding symbolizes a “new area of synodality” that “represents a Church not only of ministries, but also of charisms.”
Viganò took a flamethrower to Czerny’s comments in an X post.
“The conciliar-synodal revolution undermines the authority of the Roman Pontiff and the authority of the Bishops as Successors of the Apostles, dissolving both into spurious entities such as Episcopal Conferences, the Synod of Bishops, and Ecclesial Conferences (recently inaugurated for the Amazonian Church but to be extended to the entire Church according to well-known practice).”
He continued:
“Synodality definitively subverts the divine constitution of the Catholic Church and the Roman Papacy: their destruction (through transformation into something else) is the necessary premise for the establishment of the reign of the Antichrist, who requires a State church with an ‘honorary’ papacy presiding over the Religion of Humanity. Control will be in the hands of collegial bodies, in which a small elite will wield power - ostensibly democratic and synodal - without setting any limits: this is the ecclesial version of globalist technocracy.”
Viganò then laid out the “steps” that have been taken since Vatican II to arrive at this point:
Dr. Edmund Mazza and I spoke about the “theorization of the collegial and emeritus papacy” laid down by Fr. Ratzinger and Karl Rahner on Church & State today. You can watch our discussion below. Among other things, we touched on Archbishop Viganò’s remarks on Benedict’s resignation and how his decision to bifurcate the papacy was essential to the further dissolution of the office itself.
Viganò concluded his remarks by describing the synodal church as “Luciferian”:
What motivates the proponents of this "Church of Charisms," this multifaceted (polyhedric) and fluid entity, is the desire to overthrow the katechon, the only earthly (and at the same time divine) institution that can delay the coming of the Antichrist. The Church must no longer be One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic, and Roman, because there are precisely these Notes that make the Church truly Christ's. She must not derive her authority from Christ the King and Pontiff, but from a people that false shepherds have ensnared in Faith and Morality. And this is Luciferian ὕβρις.

Another outstanding report from Kokx News. No one is doing what Stephen Kokx is doing, and he does it very well indeed.
I have some qualms about Vigano, but this feels spot on.
“Retirement” usurps the role of the “bishops” and turns them, practically speaking, into mere functionaries of the lay for-profit bureaucracies.
